Take a look at this EXLUSIVE new casting from WhoWhatWear.com! 

WhoWhatWear.com is currently seeking a cute, energetic, and friendly female host for their new Style Stalker web series. Candidates must be articulate, knowledgeable about fashion (the latest trends, important designers, key tastemakers), and have strong personal style! If this sounds like you, read on for submission guidelines and details.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must submit at least one video, no more than 5 minutes long, which conveys your personality, love for fashion, and explains why YOU should be Who What Wear’s Style Stalker.  In this video please state your name, age, personal style icons, and favorite fashion designers.
2. Must submit at least 4 photos including at least one close up, and two full lengths.
3. Must be at least 18 years of age
4. Must be a residence of Los Angeles or surrounding areas

In this girl-on-the-street series, a Who What Wear host searches for the most fashionable ladies in LA (at the flea market, music festivals, nightclubs, 3rd Street, etc.). The Style Stalker host interviews each girl about what she’s wearing, how she’s wearing it, and where she got it. WhoWhatWear.com is an online magazine with a subscription-based, daily email newsletter covering the latest in celebrity fashion, runway trends, and beauty secrets. Who What Wear’s first original web-series, Who What Wear TV, has received over 14 million streams since its December 2007 launch and held the spot as #1 downloaded podcast on iTunes within the fashion vertical. The web series has recently been featured in Hollywood Reporter’s Digital Power Sector Showcase as one of today’s biggest online hits. WhoWhatWear.com was launched by two former ELLE magazine editors in 2006 and is located in Los Angeles.

Just recently, YouRepresent had a chance to sit down with the very successful Casting Director Matt Vener.  Matt has cast many hit shows, including Sunset Tan, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, and Average Joe.  His years of industry experience made him a perfect candidate for our first official YouRepresent Tips and Advice interview.  Enjoy!

 
YR: Hey Matt, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to sit down with us.

Matt: No problem.

YR: Let's get right to it: With so many people out there vying for a limited number of Hollywood opportunities, what kind of advice can you offer our members?

Matt: Well, it all comes down to individuality.  My job is to find the very best candidate for any project and usually the person I choose stands out from the crowd right away.  Being creative is definitely one thing that really can help separate you from the masses.

YR: In terms of submitting photos and videos to castings, what do you look for in a good candidate?

Matt:  Like I said before, creativity really takes the cake here.  A creative video always wins over another boring demo reel.  As a casting director, I really like to see a person's unique personality come through.  It's always harder to make a creative video versus a boring one, but that's the thing that makes you stand out from the crowd.
